Journaling is the hardest for me. Either I'm embarrassed about having people read my inner thoughts or I just feel like I have nothing to say. I try to avoid it whenever possible. So, with that said, I have decided to get my first journaling challenge out of the way!

Challenge: You must scrapbook one page, any size you choose, using the following quote:

"I hate quotes. Tell me what you know" -Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Here's mine:

Journaling: "What do I know? I know that James loves me. I know that God exists. I know that my family misses me. I know that I hate my job. That I have slobbish tendencies. I know I have a lot of fears. That I will be a good mom someday. I know I'm a good singer. I know I love lipgloss. I know I should read more nonfiction. I know I should play with my kitties more. I know my words can be hurtful. I know I love America's Next Top Model (even though I shouldn't). I know this is the most I have ever journaled. I know I eat to feel better. I know I have a love/hate relationship with my handwriting. And I know that I can accomplish all the things I want!"

wow thats cool. i love love love to journal and i am really good at it - not to toot my own horn- and i know someone who definately hates journaling and should do it more, but i accept your challenge sista!

The journaling says:
What do I know? I know that love is all you need. I know that I get angry very easily and it can be hard on my family. I know that little boys love their mommies. I know that you can still do backbends and headstands when your thirty. I know that I can love someone with my whole being and they can love you back because you are you. I know I need to make more time w/ all my boys. I know there are a lot fo ugly mean people out there and i have to help them still. I know that it's better to be kind than right. I know that "mommy kisses" cure all kinds of boo-boos. I know that I should learn to cook. I know that I should stop feeding into my bad addictions. I know not everyone is as lucky as I am. I know Chris is the greatest thing that's happened to me. I know that there is still so much to learn. 10-26-06
